Common use of Private Automobiles Clause in Contracts

Private Automobiles. Where an employee is required by the District Attorney or Public Defender to use his/her private automobile in the performance of County business, he/she shall be reimbursed at the rate established by Nevada Revised Statutes and County policy for each mile actually traveled in the performance of such County business. In the event an employee is required to use a passenger vehicle in the performance of his/her job, the County will assign a 4x4 vehicle for use by the District Attorney’s Office and/or Public Defender’s Office.
