Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.
Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.
STATUTORY HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS If statutory holidays, to which an employee is entitled with pay, occur within his or her vacation period, the employee shall be granted an additional day's vacation for each in lieu thereof.
Fridays and Saturdays You may opt to wear jeans and a t-shirt. However shorts, slippers, sandals / slippers are not considered appropriate on all working days. PLANT HOLIDAYS 6.01 All employees covered by this Agreement will receive eight (8) hours pay at their regular straight time rates for each of the following Plant Holidays (regardless of the day on which the holiday falls) in addition to any wages which they may be in receipt of for work performed on such holidays:
HOLIDAYS AND OVERTIME 4.11 All work performed outside of the regular scheduled working hours and on Saturdays, Sundays, and the following holidays: New Year's Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day (California only), Presidents Day (Nevada only), Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veteran's Day (California only), Nevada Day (Nevada only), Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following, and Christmas Day, or days celebrated as such, shall be paid for at double the regular straight-time rate of pay. Weekends Holidays that fall on weekends will be observed on a day established by the School District.
Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.
Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate.
HOLIDAYS AND LEAVE For the purposes of leave provisions part-time employees working less than full-time or less than five days per week or less than 52 weeks per year receive a pro-rated entitlement.
