School Workday. The required work day for all teachers shall not exceed seven and three-fourths (7-¾) hours, including a thirty (30) consecutive minute duty-free lunch period. This requirement shall not apply to required attendance at open house or similar programs. Required attendance shall not exceed three (3) activities per teacher per year unless the teacher is reimbursed for such attendance at his/her regular hourly rate of pay.
School Workday. The school workday shall not exceed eight (8) hours. Starting and ending times for teachers shall be set within each building and may vary within the District. Staff members will be provided with a thirty (30) minute duty-free lunch period within each workday. With the approval of the building principal, a staff member may vary his/her starting and ending times.
