Pregnancy and Parental Leaves. 41.1 In this Article, ”last day at work”, in respect of a person on a leave of absence referred to in Article 41.2 or 41.7, means the last day the person was at work before the leave of absence, ”parent” includes a person with whom a child is placed for adoption and a person who is in a relationship of some permanence with a parent of a child and who intends to treat the child as his or her own;
