Common use of Political Action Clause in Contracts

Political Action. No employee shall be disciplined for participation in non-criminal action(s) called for or endorsed by the Canadian Labour Congress. A leave of absence allowing such participation shall not be unreasonably withheld. Any such leave shall be without pay. The Union agrees to promptly notify the Employer of any impending action.
