Common use of Policy and Group Grievances Clause in Contracts

Policy and Group Grievances. The Employer or the Union may initiate a policy grievance. A policy grievance is a difference concerning the interpretation or application of this Agreement which seeks to enforce an obligation of the Employer to the Union, or the Union to the Employer. The Union shall have the right to process “Group Grievances.” A Group Grievance is one initiated by more than one (1) Employee providing that all Employees who are a party to the grievance are grieving the identical issue.
