Period of layoff notice. Unless otherwise agreed at the time of layoff, the period of notice of layoff shall be 14 days. There shall be no duty to provide an advance explanation of a layoff.

Layoff Notice (a) The Employer shall give regular full-time and regular part-time employees the following written notice of layoff or normal pay for that period in lieu of notice:

Notice of Layoffs The County shall give reasonable notice to the Association before effecting any layoffs which materially affect employees represented under this Memorandum of Understanding. Upon receiving such notice, the Association may meet and confer regarding the effect of the layoff.
