Layoff Notice definition

Layoff Notice means a notice of layoff or reduction in force as described in
Layoff Notice or “Notice of Potential Layoff” to select their bumping option, if they have any. Employees having bumping rights due to a more senior employee’s choice not to “bump” shall have three (3) days from written notification of these bumping option(s) to make their selection. An employee who is bumping into a classification with the same salary range shall be placed in the same salary step he/she is currently in and shall be given credit for time served in that step. An employee who is bumping into a classification with a different salary range shall be placed in the new salary range at a step closest to but not lower than his/her current salary; however, at no time will the employee be placed at a salary step/rate which exceeds the maximum of the new salary range.
Layoff Notice. No bargaining unit member shall be laid off pursuant to a reduction in the workforce unless said bargaining unit member shall have been notified of layoff at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the effective date of the layoff.

Layoff Notice means a notice of layoff or reduction in force as described in WAC 192-150-100 and/or WAC 192-320-070(3)(g).

  • Seller’s Notice has the meaning set forth in Section 8.5(a).

Dispatch Notices include: (a) Day-Ahead Schedules and Real-Time Dispatches where the RMR Unit or Units are flagged as RMR Dispatches as a result of the Market-Power Mitigation and Reliability Requirements Determination processes pursuant to the CAISO Tariff, (b) Manual RMR Dispatch Notices, (c) notices deemed to have been given by CAISO for the Energy actually Delivered by a Unit that starts or increases Energy output as a result of a “system emergency” as defined in the CAISO Tariff whether the start or increase occurs automatically (for Units specified in Section 2 of Schedule A as having the ability to Start-up or ramp automatically) or pursuant to a standing written order of the CAISO, and (d) Test Dispatch Notices given by CAISO under Section 4.9 other than Test Dispatch Notices issued at Owner’s request to test Availability or heat input of the Unit.

  • Rejection Notice has the meaning specified in Section 2.05(b)(v).

  • Notice in Writing or written notice shall mean a notice in writing, type or printed characters sent (unless delivered personally or otherwise provided to have been received) by registered post to the last known private or business address or registered office of the addressee and shall be deemed to have been received when in the ordinary course of post it would have been delivered.

  • Offeror’s Notice means the notice described in Section 10.3; and

  • Written Notification means an electronic document (including faxes, emails, internal mail on the client terminal etc.) or an announcement on the Company's website.

  • Tender Notice means the Tender Notice set out in Part 1 of this TenderDocument;

  • Notice of Dissatisfaction means the notice given by either Party to the other indicating its dissatisfaction and intention to commence arbitration.

  • Email Notice means the legal notice summarizing the proposed Settlement terms, as approved by Class Counsel, Facebook’s Counsel, and the Court, to be provided to Class Members (including Minor Subclass Members), under Section 3.3 of this Agreement via electronic mail or the Facebook domain of xxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx. The Email Notice must be substantially similar to the form attached hereto as Exhibit 3.
