Pay For Union Business. Employees who are members of the Union’s committees Xxxx 00 of the Union or Joint committees of the Union and the City, will be allowed time off without loss of pay from regular scheduled work to attend any scheduled meeting with the City representatives. In the event such meetings extend beyond the usual working hours, no compensation shall be paid by the City for time outside of regular working hours and working days. In the event a committee member is a shift worker, the City will make every practicable effort to adjust the employee’s schedule to permit meeting attendance during working hours. In addition, an aggregate of three hundred (300) hours per fiscal year shall be available for use by the unit chairman or his designee subject to the following conditions:
