Pay During Military Duty. Employees who are in any branch of the Armed Forces, Reserve or the National Guard, will be paid the difference between their Reserve pay and their regular pay with the Employer when they are on full-time active duty in the Reserve or National Guard, provided proof of service and pay is submitted. A maximum of ten (10) work days per year is the normal limit, except in the case of any emergency.

Related to Pay During Military Duty

  • Military Duty Employees who participate in activities related to the reserve component of the Canadian Armed Forces may be granted leave of absence without pay for this purpose. Such time off will not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Holiday During Leave Should an employee be on authorized paid leave when a holiday occurs, such holiday shall not be charged against such leave or vacation.

  • Military Duty Leave 3301 City policy relating to military leave, the extent of compensation and other benefits, while on such leave shall be in accordance with City Council Resolution 2001-180 and with the provisions of all Federal and State laws. 3302 Employees entitled to military leave shall give their Department Head an opportunity within the limits of military regulations to determine when such leave shall be taken. 3303 Active Military Duty commences when the employee has expired all the compensation provided for in the Military and Veterans’ Code of the State of California.

  • Holiday During Vacation If a holiday, named under Article 7 of this Agreement, falls within the vacation period of an employee, he shall be granted an additional day's pay in lieu of the holiday.

  • Refund During Cooling-Off Period The PEI will provide the Student with a cooling-off period of seven (7) working days after the date that the Contract has been signed by both parties. The Student will be refunded the highest percentage (stated in Schedule D) of the fees already paid if the Student submits a written notice of withdrawal to the PEI within the cooling-off period, regardless of whether the Student has started the course or not.

  • Pay During Temporary Transfers When an employee temporarily relieves in or performs the principal duties of a higher paying position she shall receive the rate for the job. When an employee is temporarily assigned to a lower paying position than her own, her rate shall not be reduced.
