Common use of PAID EDUCATION FUND Clause in Contracts

PAID EDUCATION FUND. 29.01 The Employer agrees to pay into a special fund two (2) cents per hour per Employee for all paid hours for the purpose of providing paid education leave. Such leave will be for upgrading the Employee skills in all aspects of Union functions. Such monies to be paid on a quarterly basis into a fund established by Service Employees’ International Union Local 1 Canada.

Effective October 11, 2008 that will increase to two cents ($0.02) per hour per employee. Such leave will be for the upgrading the Employee employee skills in all aspects of Union union functions.
