CHECK-OFF OF DUES It is the desire of the Union and the Employer to eliminate possible friction by the following arrangement:
Payment of Dues Blue Shield of California offers a variety of op- tions and methods by which you may pay your dues. Please call Customer Service at the tele- phone number indicated on your Identification Card to discuss these options. Dues payments by mail should be sent to: Blue Shield of California X.X. Xxx 00000 Xxx Xxxxxxx, XX 00000-0000 Additional dues may be charged in the event that a state or any other taxing authority im- poses upon Blue Shield a tax or license fee which is calculated upon base dues or Blue Shield's gross receipts or any portion of either. Benefits designed to cover cost-sharing amounts under Medicare will be changed auto- matically to coincide with any changes in the applicable Medicare-determined Deductible and coinsurance amounts. Dues may be modi- fied to correspond with such changes. Dues are determined based on age of the Sub- xxxxxxx, subject to the right reserved by Blue Shield to modify these dues with at least sixty (60) days notice as set forth in this Agreement.
DUŠEVNÍ VLASTNICTVÍ (a) Any inventions or discoveries (whether patentable or not), innovations, suggestions, ideas, work product, results and reports made or developed by Institution, Investigator and/or Research Staff during the course of this Study shall be promptly disclosed to Sponsor and shall become, be and remain sole and the exclusive property of Sponsor. Institution and Investigator hereby assign and shall ensure all Research Staff assign all right, title, and interest in and to such inventions or discoveries (whether patentable or not), innovations, suggestions, ideas, work product and reports, and all intellectual property rights with respect thereto, to Sponsor, free and clear of all liens, claims, and encumbrances. All such property is intended to be the result of “work for hire” for the benefit of Sponsor. CHECK-OFF UNION DUES 6.1 The Corporation shall, subject to the conditions and exceptions set forth hereunder, deduct from wages due and payable to each employee coming within the scope of this Collective Agreement, an amount equal to the prevailing dues of the Union, including initiation fees, and shall remit the same by cheque, (accompanied by a statement of deductions from individuals) to the Union Local Secretary-Treasurer, not later than fifteen (15) calendar days following the month in which the deductions are made.
CHECK-OFF OF UNION DUES (a) The Employer shall, as a condition of employment, deduct from the wages or salary of each employee in the bargaining unit, whether or not the employee is a member of the Union, the amount of the regular dues payable to the Union by a member of the Union.
Union Dues As a condition of employment, the Hospital will deduct from each employee covered by this Agreement an amount equal to the regular monthly union dues designated by the Union. Such dues shall be deducted from the first pay of each month for full-time employees, and may be deducted from every pay for part-time employees. In the case of newly hired employees, such deductions shall commence in the month following their date of hire. The amount of the regular monthly dues shall be those authorized by the Union and the Union shall notify the Hospital of any changes therein and such notification shall be the Hospital's conclusive authority to make the deductions specified. In consideration of the deducting of union dues by the Hospital, the Union agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Hospital against any claims or liabilities arising or resulting from the operation of this Article. Dues deducted by the 15th of the month shall be remitted monthly to the Union, no later than the end of the month in which the dues were deducted.
Membership Dues Association membership dues, as explicitly approved by the Trustees;
Industrial Accident or Illness Leave Pursuant to the provisions of Education Code Section 44984, a certificated unit member shall be provided leave of absence for industrial accident or illness under the following rules and regulations.
