Order of Layoffs Employees shall be laid off in reverse order of their seniority. When layoffs occur, the employee(s) occupying the position(s) affected shall have the right to accept the layoff, or be entitled to exercise their seniority to bump a less senior employee, providing they have the qualifications, ability and skills to perform the work of the position they chose to bump into. PROCEEDINGS AT GENERAL MEETINGS 23. No business shall be transacted at any meeting unless a quorum is present. A Member counts towards the quorum by being present either in person or by proxy. Order of Recall As vacancies occur, employees will be recalled to available work in the order of the seniority providing skill; competence and ability are considered substantially equal in the judgment of the Employer. Rules of Grievance Processing 1. Time limits of any stage of the grievance procedure may be extended by written mutual agreement of the parties at that step.
Order to Stop Work The Procurement Officer, may, by written order to Contractor at any time, and without notice to any surety, require Contractor to stop all or any part of the work called for by this contract. This order shall be for a specified period not exceeding 90 days after the order is delivered to Contractor, unless the parties agree to any further period. Any such order shall be identified specifically as a stop work order issued pursuant to this clause.
