of ADR. (1) By derogation from the provisions of the first paragraph of 8.2.2.8.2 of ADR all driver training certificates the validity of which ends between 1 March 2020 and 1 February 2021 remain valid until 28 February 2021. These certificates shall be renewed for five years if the driver furnishes proof of participation in refresher training in accordance with 8.2.2.5 of ADR and has passed an examination in accordance with 8.2.2.7 of ADR before 1 March 2021. The new period of validity shall begin with the original date of expiry of the document to be renewed.

of ADR. Tank-container means an article of transport equipment meeting the definition of a container, and comprising a shell and items of equipment, including the equipment to facilitate movement of the tank-container without significant change of attitude, used for the carriage of gases, liquid, powdery or granular substances and, when used for the carriage of gases as defined in 2.2.2.1.1 having a capacity of more than 0.45 m3 (450 litres); NOTE: IBCs which meet the requirements of Chapter 6.5 of ADR are not considered to be tank-containers.
