Occupational Training Expense. In the event a Loss of Life resulting from Injury is sustained by an Insured Employee and indemnity for such Loss becomes payable in accordance with the terms of this Employees Accidental Death or Dismemberment Insurance, the Insurer will pay the reasonable and necessary expenses actually incurred, within three (3) years from the date of such Loss, by the Spouse of the Insured Employee who engages in a formal occupational training program in order to become specifically qualified for active employment in an occupation for which he would not otherwise have sufficient qualifications, not to exceed in the aggregate the amount of fifteen thousand dollars ($ 15,000) for all such expenses. Payment will not be made for room, board or other ordinary living, travelling or clothing expenses. In the event the Insured Employee's Spouse satisfies the requirements indicated above, such Spouse will be deemed the Beneficiary with respect to the benefits payable under this provision. The above benefit will only be payable under one (1) of the policies issued to the Policyholder by the Insurer.

  • Additional Training Should the introduction of new methods of operation create a need for the perfection or acquisition of skills requiring a training period longer than one (1) year, the additional training time shall be a subject for discussion between the Board and the Union.

  • Annual Training The Governing Board shall receive initial training and annual training thereafter. Pursuant to O.C.G.A §20-2-2072 and relevant State Board rules, the training shall include, but not be limited to, best practices on school governance, the constitutional and statutory requirements relating to public records and meetings, and the requirements of applicable statutes and rules and regulations.

  • Overtime Meal Allowances (a) An Employee who is required to work a minimum of two and one-half (2½) hours overtime before or after his/her scheduled hours of work, shall be provided with a meal or shall be reimbursed nine dollars ($9.00). A meal break of one-half (½) hour with pay shall be given at the overtime rate. This section shall not apply to an Employee who is on travel status which entitles him/her to claim for lodging and/or meals.

  • Training Costs All costs and expenses incurred by the Contractor in training as is required under Article 22 of the Contract.

  • Temporary Living Expenses An employee shall be entitled to reimbursement for meals and lodging for up to twenty (20) working days, as provided by procedures of the Department of Administrative Services, following a transfer initiated by the Employer.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.

  • Training Premium Qualified Operators selected by the Employer to train new Operators shall be paid a training premium of 40¢ per hour while engaged in training work.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Living Expenses 13. You will normally live in Oxford during while you are at the University and will need to pay for your living costs such as food, accommodation, and personal items unless this is being covered by your home institution.

  • Safety Shoe Allowance For each unit member required by the City to wear safety shoes, the City shall provide a voucher from the City-designated department for up to one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) annually toward the cost of acquiring one pair of safety shoes through the City vendor.
