Temporary Living Expenses definition

Temporary Living Expenses means the cost of meals and lodging you incur when your Residence Premises is not fit to live in because of a Home System Breakdown. The costs must arise from necessary increases in living expenses incurred by you so that your household can maintain its normal standard of living.
Temporary Living Expenses means rental expense for a house, apartment, condominium, hotel, motel, houseboat, mobile home or similar dwelling temporarily occupied by the new hire until residency is established, not to exceed six months from date of hire.
Temporary Living Expenses means (i) food and housing costs at an extended stay hotel or furnished apartment, (ii) weekly roundtrip airfare for Employee to and from his home in Monterey, California and (iii) two round trip airfares for Employee's wife and children to and from Monterey, California for the purpose of finding new housing and schools.

Temporary Living Expenses. Temporary living is defined as the period of time that you and your dependents are temporarily residing in a hotel or furnished apartment until you move into your permanent residence, up to a maximum of 8 weeks. Expenses for this period include: -Actual hotel rate (including taxes) or furnished apartment rent. -An automatic per diem allowance to cover meals and incidental expenses at the rate of US $25 per adult per day and US $12.50 per child (ages 2-12) per day. When you are traveling on AMO business, the per diem allowance should not be submitted for personal reimbursement. If you are able to obtain access to your permanent residence prior to the arrival of your household goods, we will support you in renting a reasonable amount of furniture so that you may move into your permanent residence as soon as possible. In addition to temporary living expenses in the home location, up to 4 days of living expenses will be granted to you and your dependents in the U.S. before the actual move to California if the household goods have already been shipped. Living expenses include actual hotel room and tax charges, and reasonable meals, laundry, phone, and gratuity expenses. The employee housing contribution will continue while your home country residence is leased and you are receiving temporary living expenses.
Temporary Living Expenses reimbursements set forth in subsection (a) above shall, to the extent appropriate, be "grossed up." For this purpose, "grossed-up" means in case of a reimbursed expense that is taxable to the Executive and is not deductible for Federal income tax purposes, that the Executive will be paid an amount which, after Federal income taxes on such amount, will equal the amount of the non-deductible reimbursable expense.

  • NOx Allowance means an authorization to emit a specified amount of NOx that is allocated or issued under an emissions trading or marketable permit program of any kind that has been established under the Clean Air Act or a state implementation plan.

  • Relocation Costs means costs incurred in the relocation of the furniture, fixtures, equip- ment, machinery and supplies, including, but not limited to, the cost of dismantling and reassembling equipment and the cost of floor preparation necessary for the reassembly of the equipment. Relocation costs include only such costs that are incurred during the ninety-day period immediately following the commencement of the relocation to an eli- gible premises. Relocation costs do not include costs for structural or capital improve- ments or items purchased in connection with the relocation.
