North Park Picnic Area. A small picnic area is proposed for the open space bordered by the Demonstration Garden to the north, park service road on the east, storm water management and wetland area to the south, and Xxxxxx Street to the west. Some of the improvements proposed for this area include: ❖ Pedestrian / bicycle connection to existing park trail system. ❖ Small prefabricated picnic shelter similar to the gazebo located at Canyon Lake Park. ❖ Small parking lot with about 20 spaces with access road east connected to service road. ❖ Site grading and landscape modification required for development of the area. ❖ Site electrical for picnic shelter lighting and outdoor service outlets. ❖ Additional area lighting along trail connection and parking lot. ❖ Evaluate optional sites for future restroom facility.
