Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation. The parties recognize that the Charter School operates as a non-profit public benefit corporation governed by its board of directors (“otherwise referred to as “Charter Council”). in accordance with Education Codes Section 47604 and therefore CHARTER governed by its Charter Council is a separate legal entity under the control and direction of its Board of Directors. Charter School shall maintain its status as a non-profit corporation as provided in Education Code 47604. CHARTER shall provide the District with a current copy of the Charter School Corporate Bylaws and shall immediately notify the District in writing of any changes and provide a copy thereof. The President of the Charter Council shall be the person responsible for providing said documents and updates to the District.
