Common use of Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Clause in Contracts

Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked. Effective July 1, 2017, the Employer shall contribute the Healthcare Rate or three dollars and forty-eight cents ($3.48), whichever is higher, to the Trust for each Medicaid-funded hour worked. Medicaid-funded hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in-home care program that are paid by Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time off hours, and training hours. Consumer participation shall also be excluded for contribution purposes. Effective July 1, 2018, the Employer shall contribute the Healthcare rate or three dollars and fifty-five cents ($3.55), whichever is higher, to the Trust for each Medicaid- Funded hours worked. The Employer agrees that all funds received by the Employer for the purposes of healthcare will be provided to the Trust.

The Employer agrees that all funds received by the Employer for the purposes of healthcare will be provided to the Trust.
