Common use of Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Clause in Contracts

Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked. Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Training Partnership Rate or forty-three and one-half cents ($0.435), whichever is higher, to the Partnership for each Medicaid Funded Hour worked of which two and one-half cents ($0.025) can be used to support the certification and testing benefit. Medicaid-Funded Hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in-home care program that are paid by Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time-off, and training hours. Consumer participation hours shall also be excluded for contribution purposes. The Employer agrees that all funds received by the Employer for purposes of training and certification will be provided to the Partnership.
