Meal breaks outside daytime working hours A supper break shall be granted during the period 19:00–20:00, with pay at overtime rates. If employees work during the meal break or part thereof, they shall be paid 1 hour in addition to the working hours and on the same wages, and this shall also be done even if working shorter. If overtime is worked, the meal break shall be from 3:00 to 4:00.

  • Missed Meal Breaks (a) (applicable to full-time employees only) If an employee is authorized to work, during the lunch break, due to the requirements of patient care, he will be paid time and one-half (1½) his regular straight time hourly rate for all time worked in excess of his normal daily hours.
