Common use of Master’s Degree Stipend Clause in Contracts

Master’s Degree Stipend. Any Teacher who is currently compensated on the Bachelors’ range andearns a master’s degree from an accredited postsecondary educational institution in a content area directly related to the subject matter of a dual credit course taught by the teacher will receive a stipend of $4,000 ($2,000/semester) Any Elementary Teacher that is currently compensated on the Bachelors’ and earns a master’s degree from an accredited postsecondary educational institution in math, reading or literacy will receive a stipend of $4,000. The teaching assignment must be verified by the building principal and the superintendent. The degree must be substantiated by submitting official transcripts to the Office of the Superintendent by October 15th of the school year the teacher seeks the stipend.
