Library community. The EODOPEN network will serve as a knowledge tank for national and international professional community as regards to the rights clearance of the 20th and 21st century works. The project will empower the international cooperation of the partners by online collaboration and meetings twice a year. All partners will spread the knowledge proactively in the national professional networks, for which they have foreseen allocated budget for staff, travel, publications and other deliverables. All members are also part of the international community and foresee participation on high-level professional events . The American Library Association (ALA) awarded the EODOPEN related initiative EOD (eBooks on Demand) with the Presidential Citation for Innovative International Library Projects. This illustrates the importance of innovation in the library sector and communication of the respective outcomes beyond the EU. The message of making accessible the books, which would not be available otherwise is expected to be taken directly to nearly 1 million people in Europe and an unpredicted number of indirectly targeted individuals, i.e. audiences of all media, which presents the EODOPEN achievements, and people, who find and use independently the materials, which are made accessible due to the rights clearance in EODOPEN project and which visibility is increased due to the common portal in addition to institutional repositories of the partners, EOD Search engine and Europeana. Internal communication of the EODOPEN consortium will be managed by mailing-lists of the partners, mailing-lists of WGs, project meetings twice a year, and wiki pages for all project related documentation including design files of dissemination materials for every partner to use. The tactical planning, implementation and reporting is dealt within the WG 2 Audience development, communication and dissemination. See WG 2 description for deliverables and timeline.
