KAPUSKASING OPERATION. Effective April 1st, 1993, the Kapuskasing Operation will be a full owner-operator operation with its own seniority list and come under the Hearst Agreement for all other conditions (e.g..- hourly rates, benefits, etc.). The marshalling point for travel allowances will be Kapuskasing. No one who is presently not an owner-operator at Kapuskasing will lose their job because of owner-operators, said employees will be on the Hearst seniority list. No Kapuskasing owner- operator will be allowed to work in the Hearst operation if any Hearst employee is on lay-off or if it results in the Hearst employees’ reduction in the normal work year. Prior to any owner-operator coming to work in the Hearst operation in accordance with the above, it must be mutually agreed to between the parties. Said mutual agreement will not be unreasonably withheld by either party. The Hearst marshalling point for the Kapuskasing Operation shall apply to the present employees only.
