Common use of Jury Duty and Subpoena Leave Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty and Subpoena Leave. Leaves of absence shall be authorized by the Superintendent for jury duty or subpoena absence provided that the District is provided with a copy of the request for such duty. There will be no deduction in pay for jury duty or subpoena absence on the condition that any fees received for service performed during working hours shall be remitted to the District. When the employee is released from jury duty or court appearance, the employee shall be required to promptly report to his/her assigned teaching station.
