Interpretation of Specifications and Drawings. (1) The specifications and drawings shall be interpreted to complement each other. Requirements set forth in the specifications and not shown on the drawings, or shown on the drawings and not set forth in the specifications, shall be of like effect as if shown or set forth in both.
Interpretation of Specifications and Drawings. The specifications and the contract drawings are intended to be explanatory of each other. Any work indicated in the contract drawings and not in the specifications, or vice versa, is to be executed as if indicated in both. Should it appear that the work to be done, or any of the matters relative thereto, are not sufficiently detailed or explained in these contract documents, including the contract drawings, Contractor shall apply in writing to District Engineer for such further explanations as may be necessary, and shall conform thereto as part of this contract, so far as may be consistent with the terms of this contract. In the event of any doubt or question arising respecting the true meaning of the specifications, reference shall be made to the District and its decision thereon shall be final.

In the event a change in a law, rule, regulation or interpretation thereof would materially change this Agreement, the terms of Section 2.2 shall prevail over the terms of this Section 2.1. In the case of any material change, any reference in this Agreement to such law, rule, regulation or interpretation thereof will be to such law, rule, regulation or interpretation thereof in effect immediately prior to such change until the processes set forth in Section 2.2 are implemented. The existing configuration of either Party's network may not be in compliance with the latest release of technical references, technical publications, or publications of Telecommunications industry administrative or technical standards.

  • Application and Interpretation For the purposes of this Chapter:

  • Interpretation of Annexes 1. Where a disputing Party asserts as a defense that the measure alleged to be a breach is within the scope of a reservation or exception set out in Annex I or Annex II, upon request of the disputing Party, the Tribunal shall request the interpretation of the Commission on the issue.
