Common use of Inherent Managerial Rights Clause in Contracts

Inherent Managerial Rights. The exclusive representative recognizes that the school board has the responsibility and authority to manage and direct, in behalf of the public, all operations and activities of the district to the full extent authorized by law, provided that such rights and responsibilities shall be exercised by the school board in conformity with the provisions of this Agreement.

The assignment of staff. These inherent managerial rights are not subject to negotiations except when they are specific and responsibilities shall be exercised by the school board in conformity with the expressed provisions of this Agreement.
