Duty Year. A. The duty year for teachers shall not exceed 187 days, including days for professional activities.
Duty Year. The duty year for regular full-time employees under this Agreement shall be as annually prescribed by the school district prior to August 1, but not less than the number of student days. However, the school district may employ such part-time interpreters as it deems appropriate.
Duty Year. 1. The duty year will be no more than 187 for returning teachers. The duty year for teachers new to the district will be no longer than 191 days –4 days longer than returning teachers.
Duty Year. 1. The contract year for employees assigned to a single school district will correspond to the contract year delineated in the Negotiated Agreement for employees of that school district. The contract year for employees assigned to multiple school districts will be determined by school principals and the Cooperative Director with input from the employee, and shall be comparable in length to the contract year worked by employees assigned to a single school district.
Duty Year. Annual appointments will consist of a twelve (12) month, salaried, duty- year, starting July 1st and ending June 30th and run concurrently with the Fiscal Year. Except as explicitly provided in this subdivision, annual appointments are not subject to the provisions of Article 10, Section D. Initial appointments begin on the first day of employment and run through June 30th. Coaches with annual appointments shall receive holidays as provided in Section D, Subd. 1 and shall additionally receive Juneteenth and Independence Day (July 4th) as holidays.
Duty Year. The teacher’s duty year and vacation days shall be as adopted by the School Board, and the teacher agrees to teach on those legal holidays on which the School Board is authorized to conduct school If the School Board so determines. In the event a duty day is lost due to any emergency, the teacher agrees to perform duties on such other day in lieu thereof as determined by the School Board.
Duty Year. Ten-month Employees: The duty year for ten (10) month office professionals and for ten (10) month paraeducators shall consist of the same duty days as ten (10) month teachers, and shall include all holidays listed in Article 12. School-based office professionals/clerical employees do not work when schools are closed for winter or spring break. Twelve-month Employees: The duty year for twelve (12) month office professionals shall consist of all weekdays between July 1 and June 30 including paid holidays. Central office employees will not be required to work more than two (2) of the days that the office is open when schools are closed for winter holiday and spring vacation, or other extended school closings except those necessitated by inclement weather or national emergency. Every effort will be made to obtain coverage on a volunteer basis. The schedule for these employees, to be worked out by the department heads, shall assure that an adequate staff is available at all times to carry out business operations. Central office employees shall be given compensatory time for any time worked during the winter holidays or spring vacation, or other extended school closings, except those necessitated by inclement weather or national emergency. School-based office professionals/clericals do not work on days when schools are closed for winter or spring break.
Duty Year. Twelve-month employees will work a standard duty year of 260 days including approved holidays. In fiscal years that have more than 260 days, twelve-month AHCATSP employees will not work on the day(s) beyond 260. The extra non-work day(s) will not count as a duty day or holiday. The extra non-work day(s) in the school calendar will be determined by the Superintendent of Schools. The duty year for food service managers and school nurses shall consist of 195 days. The ten-month duty year includes approved leave days. The duty year for eleven (11) month employees shall consist of 210 days. The eleven (11) month duty year includes approved leave days.
