Common use of Informal Complaint Stage Clause in Contracts

Informal Complaint Stage. It is the mutual desire of the Parties that a complaint of an employee shall be resolved as promptly as possible. To that end it is understood that an employee has no grievance until she has first discussed her complaint with her immediate supervisor, Chair/Program Director, or designate without satisfaction. The employee may, if she wishes, be accompanied by her Xxxxxxx or in the Xxxxxxx’x absence, the Chief Xxxxxxx. Should any difference arise between the Employer and any employee from the interpretation, application, administration or alleged violation of the provisions of this Agreement, an xxxxxxx effort shall be made to settle such difference without undue delay.
