Release from Present Position. Successful applicants should be released from their present position as soon as possible, but normally at least within twenty (20) working days of notification of their selection. During any overlap period, and as scheduled by the Department of Human Resources, the successful applicant shall be expected to spend some time in the new position receiving orientation, as well as assisting with the orientation of a replacement for the position being vacated.
