Leave Requests All requests for leaves of absence must be in writing.
Unrequested Leave of Absence Section 1. Purpose: The purpose of this Article is to implement the provisions of Minn. Stat. § 122A.40, Subd. 10, which Article, when adopted, shall constitute a plan for unrequested leave because of discontinuance of position, lack of pupils, financial limitations or merger of classes caused by consolidation of districts.
Unpaid Parental Leave (a) An employee is entitled to a period of up to 52 weeks unpaid parental leave in respect of the:
Pregnancy/Parental Leave Pregnancy/Parental Leave will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act as amended from time to time.
Employee-Requested Schedule Changes Overtime-eligible employees’ workweeks and work schedules may be changed at the employee’s request and with the Employer’s approval, provided the Employer’s business and customer service needs are met and no overtime expense is incurred.
Parental Leave of Absence A. A female unit member may use any or all accumulated leave during pre- and post-natal care for that period of time she is temporarily disabled, as determined by the unit member and her physician.
EXTENDED LEAVES OF ABSENCE 1. Military leave without pay shall be granted to any employee who is inducted in any branch of the armed forces of the United States for the period of said service.
Extended Parental Leave 22.1 The Board shall grant an extension to the parental leave as provided in Article 21 in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in this Article.
Paid Parental Leave 44.2 In addition, if the Employee is entitled to paid parental leave under the Paid Parental Leave Act 2010 (Cth) (PPL Act) as the primary carer of the child:
Maternity/Parental Leave The term of the temporary posting shall be for the term of the illness or maternity/parental leave but shall not exceed eighteen (18) continuous months.
