Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

Summary of Policy and Prohibitions on Procurement Lobbying Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, this Contract includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between OGS and a Vendor during the procurement process. A Vendor is restricted from making contacts from the earliest notice of intent to solicit offers/bids through final award and approval of the Procurement Contract by OGS and, if applicable, the Office of the State Comptroller (“restricted period”) to other than designated staff unless it is a contact that is included among certain statutory exceptions set forth in State Finance Law §139-j(3)(a). Designated staff, as of the date hereof, is identified in Appendix G, Contractor and OGS Information, or as otherwise indicated by OGS. OGS employees are also required to obtain certain information when contacted during the restricted period and make a determination of the responsibility of the Vendor pursuant to these two statutes. Certain findings of non-responsibility can result in rejection for contract award and in the event of two findings within a four-year period; the Vendor is debarred from obtaining governmental Procurement Contracts. Standard Hazard and Flood Insurance Policies For each Mortgage Loan (other than a Cooperative Loan), the Master Servicer shall maintain, or cause to be maintained by each Servicer, standard fire and casualty insurance and, where applicable, flood insurance, all in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement and the related Servicing Agreement, as applicable. It is understood and agreed that such insurance shall be with insurers meeting the eligibility requirements set forth in the applicable Servicing Agreement and that no earthquake or other additional insurance is to be required of any Mortgagor or to be maintained on property acquired in respect of a defaulted loan, other than pursuant to such applicable laws and regulations as shall at any time be in force and as shall require such additional insurance. Pursuant to Section 4.01, any amounts collected by the Master Servicer, or by any Servicer, under any insurance policies maintained pursuant to this Section 9.16 or any Servicing Agreement (other than amounts to be applied to the restoration or repair of the property subject to the related Mortgage or released to the Mortgagor in accordance with the applicable Servicing Agreement) shall be deposited into the Collection Account, subject to withdrawal pursuant to Section 4.02. Any cost incurred by the Master Servicer or any Servicer in maintaining any such insurance if the Mortgagor defaults in its obligation to do so shall be added to the amount owing under the Mortgage Loan where the terms of the Mortgage Loan so permit; provided, however, that the addition of any such cost shall not be taken into account for purposes of calculating the distributions to be made to Certificateholders and shall be recoverable by the Master Servicer or such Servicer pursuant to Section 4.02.
Continuing Education 24.01 The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.
Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training The state and the PBA recognize the importance of supervisor training programs to develop management skills in our law enforcement supervisors. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.
Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.
PROCUREMENT LOBBYING To the extent this agreement is a "procurement contract" as defined by State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k, by signing this agreement the contractor certifies and affirms that all disclosures made in accordance with State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k are complete, true and accurate. In the event such certification is found to be intentionally false or intentionally incomplete, the State may terminate the agreement by providing written notification to the Contractor in accordance with the terms of the agreement.
Procurement from UN Agencies Goods estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract may be procured directly from Inter-Agency Procurement Services Office (IAPSO) in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.1 and 3.9 of the Procurement Guidelines.
Outreach and Education The agencies agree to coordinate, conduct joint outreach presentations, and prepare and distribute publications, when appropriate, for the regulated community of common concern. • The agencies agree to work with each other to provide a side-by-side comparison of laws with overlapping provisions and jurisdiction. • The agencies agree to provide a hyperlink on each agency’s website linking users directly to the outreach materials in areas of mutual jurisdiction and concern. • The agencies agree to jointly disseminate outreach materials to the regulated community, when appropriate. • All materials bearing the DOL or DOL/WHD name, logo, or seal must be approved in advance by DOL. • All materials bearing the OEAS name, logo, or seal must be approved in advance by OEAS.
