Common use of Holiday on Day Off Clause in Contracts

Holiday on Day Off. If a holiday falls on an employee’s scheduled day off, the employee will choose to receive holiday pay for the holiday or schedule another day off at a later date within the same calendar year except that up to sixteen (16) hours of accrued and unused holiday hours may be rolled over into PTO.

Unused holidays may only be rolled over into PTO up to the maximum rollover amount.
