Common use of Grievance Witnesses Clause in Contracts

Grievance Witnesses. The District shall endeavor to make available for testimony in connection with the grievance procedure reasonable requests for District employees to appear when requested by the grievant, the Union, or the District. Any employee witnesses required to appear in connection with this article shall suffer no loss of normal pay but will not receive any form of overtime compensation in connection with his/her appearance. Such employee witnesses are responsible for informing their immediate supervisor forty-eight (48) hours in advance or as soon as reasonably possible.
