Common use of Grievance Prevention Clause in Contracts

Grievance Prevention. Most grievances arise from misunderstandings or disputes that can be resolved promptly and satisfactorily on an informal basis. To resolve issues that may result in grievances, potential grievants are encouraged to contact and discuss their concerns with the other party. However, such discussions prior to the start of the grievance process do not extend any time frames unless mutually agreed to in writing.
