Fundraising and Grant Writing. The Academy has developed an annual cycle for major fundraising activities to supplement its primary funding source. In addition to in-house fundraising efforts, the Academy has contracted with a professional grant writer in the past, with little success. We continue to seek out grant opportunities as appropriate, and to work through the state’s Charter School Network to develop new funding streams.

Fundraising and Grant Writing. Project Director will be responsible for all fundraising and grant writing efforts on behalf of the Project. Client has no obligation to fundraise on behalf of the Project. Because Client and the Project may at times seek funds from the same sources, Project Director and Sponsor Contact will maintain open lines of communication regarding fundraising efforts. The Project will not approach specific foundations, businesses, government entities, or individuals if Client is considering approaching them for funding and Client has directed the Project to not contact such potential funding sources. Project Director will not undertake any fundraising campaigns, submit any grant proposals, or charge a fee for any products or services in connection with the Project without first obtaining the approval of Sponsor Contact. Project Director is not an agent of Client for purposes of soliciting gifts, grants, and other contributions, and is not authorized to make any binding commitments, either express or implied, to funding sources on behalf of Client.
Fundraising and Grant Writing. 3 hrs. This course is an advanced study in the processes related to grant writing and fundraising to support programs and services to meet the needs of groups of people. This course will cover procedures for identifying a programmatic need, effectively communicating a plan to address the need, developing a budget, and writing a grant proposal. Particular attention will be given to the cultivation of relationships with charitable foundations and other potential sources of financial support. 559. ADVOCACY, COMMUNICATION, & PUBLIC POLICY – 3 hrs. This course provides an overview of advocating and communicating the needs of groups of people and recommendations for meeting those needs with the goal of influencing public decision-making systems. Particular attention will be given to telling an impactful story, effective methods of advocacy, and connecting with local, state, and national decision-makers

  • Marketing and Outreach CONTRACTOR shall identify culturally and linguistically appropriate measures for reaching older adults in need of transportation and determine procedures for implementation of outreach, which may include, but is not limited to, brochures, flyers, and public presentations. In order to ensure effective collaboration and coordination of services, a CONTRACTOR shall be required to submit drafts of all printed materials related to outreach and marketing of OoA Senior Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Fixed-Price Per Mile Program services to OoA for approval before publication and dissemination.

  • Marketing and Promotion The School will be responsible for marketing and promoting the Sports Facilities in accordance with the agreed aims and targets. A marketing strategy will be prepared and implemented and reviewed on an annual basis.
