Common use of Flex Day Clause in Contracts

Flex Day. Employees may bank up to one (1) work day to be used later in the work year on a day that is mutually agreeable between the employee and the supervisor; preferably when a substitute is not required. Should a substitute be necessary, the cost will be charged to the building budget. Records will be maintained at the building to document when hours were worked and taken.
