Environmental Prevention. Work collaboratively with County Alcohol and Drug Services and other alcohol and drug service providers to develop and implement appropriate environmental prevention strategies. Environmental prevention efforts work to effect changes in community attitudes, in order to influence the incidence and prevalence of the abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs by the general population. Include progress on these efforts in quarterly narrative reports.

Environmental Prevention. 1. Conduct 4 community functions within Moonridge and Main Street Public Housing Projects. These functions will help raise awareness of the prevalence of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use within the community. They will also focus on the prevalence of gang activity within the community. An attempt will be made to involve youth in a campaign effort, and a presentation to adults within the community.

EXHIBIT B (Flat Fee Agreement) County Funded Alcohol and Drug Treatment Services and Payments YOUTH AND FAMILY ENRICHMENT SERVICES July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006 Contractor will provide the following County funded alcohol and drug treatment services at a mutually agreed upon location in San Mateo County. All payments under this Agreement must directly support services specified in this Agreement. Contractor will provide treatment services that are age appropriate to the adolescent population being served. Contractor will give priority for admission to San Mateo County residents. Contractor will provide the following services to individuals, hereinafter referred to as “program participants”, who meet Alcohol and Drug Services treatment criteria.

  • Environmental Safety Upon encountering any previously unknown potentially hazardous material, or other materials potentially contaminated by hazardous material, Contractor shall immediately stop work activities impacted by the discovery, secure the affected area, and notify the ODR immediately.

  • Environmental Pollution Unless disposition of environmental pollution is specifically a part of this contract, PURCHASER shall immediately notify STATE of any hazardous substance(s) which PURCHASER discovers or encounters during performance of the operation. "Hazardous substance(s)" are those substances, materials, or wastes regulated by state or federal law. PURCHASER shall immediately cease operating in any particular area of the operations where a hazardous substance(s) has been discovered or encountered, if continued operations in such area would present a bona fide risk or danger to the health or well being of PURCHASER's or any subcontractor's work force. Upon being notified by PURCHASER of the presence of hazardous substance(s) on the areas of operations, STATE shall arrange for the proper disposition of such hazardous substance(s).

  • Environmental Protection Except as set forth in Schedule 5.13 annexed hereto:

  • Environmental Health and Safety i. Environment, Health and Safety Performance. Seller acknowledges and accepts full and sole responsibility to maintain an environment, health and safety management system ("EMS") appropriate for its business throughout the performance of this Contract. Buyer expects that Seller’s EMS shall promote health and safety, environmental stewardship, and pollution prevention by appropriate source reduction strategies. Seller shall convey the requirement of this clause to its suppliers. Seller shall not deliver goods that contain asbestos mineral fibers.

  • Environmental Protection Measures 5.1.1 All private storm water facilities shall be maintained in good order in order to maintain full storage capacity by the owner of the lot on which they are situated.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION STANDARDS CONTRACTOR shall be in compliance with the Clean Air Act (Title 42 USC Section 7401 et seq.), the Clean Water Act (Title 33 USC Section 1251 et seq.), Executive Order 11738 and Environmental Protection Agency, hereinafter referred to as “EPA,” regulations (Title 40 CFR), as any may now exist or be hereafter amended. Under these laws and regulations, CONTRACTOR assures that:

  • Environmental Compliance The Borrower and its Subsidiaries conduct in the ordinary course of business a review of the effect of existing Environmental Laws and claims alleging potential liability or responsibility for violation of any Environmental Law on their respective businesses, operations and properties, and as a result thereof the Borrower has reasonably concluded that such Environmental Laws and claims could not, individually or in the aggregate, reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect.

  • SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION In performing work under this Contract on State premises, Contractor shall conform to any specific safety requirements contained in the Contract or as required by law or regulation. Contractor shall take any additional precautions as the State may reasonably require for safety and accident prevention purposes. Any violation of such rules and requirements, unless promptly corrected, shall be grounds for termination of this Contract in accordance with the default provisions hereof.
