ENGINEER INSTRUCTORS. (1) Engineer Instructors training Locomotive Engineer trainees or providing familiarization shall receive the monetary equivalent of two hours pay per tour of duty at the class of service being performed.

ENGINEER INSTRUCTORS. (1) From time to time as may be necessary the Company shall designate a Locomotive Engineer to act as an Engineer-Instructor. The Company may withdraw such designation at any time. In making such designation representation by a Locomotive Engineer who does not wish to become an Engineer-Instructor or by their representative on their behalf shall be considered by the Company provided there are sufficient Engineer-Instructors available. While performing their customary service, an Engineer-Instructor will act as a field instructor, indoctrinating Engineer trainees in the functions and responsibilities of engineers under actual working conditions. A "coaching clinic" will be mutually developed by the Company and the TCRC to assist Locomotive Engineer-instructors in developing their teaching techniques. When attending such coaching clinic, attendees will be compensated as per Article 1 Instruction Classes (Other than RQ).

  • Drug-Free Workplace Certification As required by Executive Order No. 90-5 dated April 12, 1990, issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Contractor hereby covenants and agrees to make a good faith effort to provide and maintain a drug-free workplace. The Contractor will give written notice to the State within ten (10) days after receiving actual notice that the Contractor, or an employee of the Contractor in the State of Indiana, has been convicted of a criminal drug violation occurring in the workplace. False certification or violation of this certification may result in sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension of contract payments, termination of this Contract and/or debarment of contracting opportunities with the State for up to three (3) years. In addition to the provisions of the above paragraph, if the total amount set forth in this Contract is in excess of $25,000.00, the Contractor certifies and agrees that it will provide a drug-free workplace by:

  • FIPPA The HSP acknowledges that the LHIN is bound by FIPPA and that any information provided to the LHIN in connection with this Agreement may be subject to disclosure in accordance with FIPPA.

  • DELIVERY: FOB DESTINATION, INSIDE DELIVERY, FREIGHT PAID Whenever possible, contractors should give the ordering entities 3 working days prior notice of any deliveries and/or installations. Furniture contractors will not be responsible for the removal/moving of existing furnishings unless requested by the ordering entity. Contractors should verify site readiness prior to delivery. All deliveries will be made during normal working hours unless otherwise arranged with the ordering entity. Contractor will communicate any scheduling delays and/or changes immediately.   • Shipping must be Freight On Board Destination to the delivery location designated on the Customer purchase order The Contractor will retain title and control of all goods until delivery is completed and the Customer has accepted the delivery. All risk of transportation and all related charges are the responsibility of the Contractor. The Customer will notify the Contractor and H-GAC promptly of any damaged goods and will assist the Contractor in arranging for inspection. The Contractor must file all claims for visible or concealed damage. Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, deliveries must consist only of new and unused merchandise.

  • Procurement of Small Works Works estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed $1,150,000 equivalent, may be procured under lump-sum, fixed-price contracts awarded on the basis of quotations obtained from three (3) qualified domestic contractors in response to a written invitation. The invitation shall include a detailed description of the works, including basic specifications, the required completion date, a basic form of agreement acceptable to the Association, and relevant drawings, where applicable. The award shall be made to the contractor who offers the lowest price quotation for the required work, and who has the experience and resources to complete the contract successfully.   • PROJECT REPRESENTATION BEYOND BASIC SERVICES 1.2.1. The State may at its option secure the services of a person or persons known as a Clerk-of-the-Works, referred to herein as a "Clerk". The Clerk(s) shall, for all purposes of this Agreement, report and be solely responsible to the State. The State may at any time dismiss the Clerk(s) for cause or convenience; however, any such action shall not affect the State's and ARCHITECT/ENGINEER'S obligations under this Agreement.   • Building Commissioning Services The Owner may provide as a part of its testing services the Building Commissioning services involving the project’s HVAC and exhaust systems, temperature control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency power and lighting system, fire suppression system, security locks and security locking control systems, food service equipment (if applicable), and laundry equipment (if applicable). In the event the Using Agency’s Program specifies additional commissioning services, the Owner shall procure such services as well. The Owner, through its Executive Administrator, may engage an independent Commissioning Authority. It is the intent of this Article that the Commissioning Authority enforce the requirements mentioned herein and certify that the systems and equipment listed all function properly prior to the initiation of each final inspection.
