Employment Commitment and Status. 15.12.1 Relief Nurses are required to make a written commitment of availability (as defined below) to her/his respective schedule planner. Shifts may be worked in four (4), six (6), eight (8), ten (10), or twelve (12) hour blocks in order to fulfill commitment. Relief Nurse commitment is successfully met by actually working all hours of commitment for which the Relief Nurse is scheduled by the Employer unless s/he is canceled by the Employer. Failure of a Relief Nurse to keep her/his commitment may result in a corrective action notice and compliance will be expected for the next schedule period. Continued noncompliance may result in termination.   • COMMITMENT OF THE PARTIES By signing9 this document, the teaching staff member, the sending institution/enterprise and the receiving institution confirm that they approve the proposed mobility agreement. The sending higher education institution supports the staff mobility as part of its modernisation and internationalisation strategy and will recognise it as a component in any evaluation or assessment of the teaching staff member. The teaching staff member will share his/her experience, in particular its impact on his/her professional development and on the sending higher education institution, as a source of inspiration to others. The teaching staff member and the beneficiary institution commit to the requirements set out in the grant agreement signed between them. The teaching staff member and the receiving institution will communicate to the sending institution/enterprise any problems or changes regarding the proposed mobility programme or mobility period.   • Employer Commitments It is agreed that the institution will make every reasonable attempt to minimize the impact of funding shortfalls and reductions on the work force. It is incumbent upon institutions to communicate effectively with their employees and the unions representing those employees as soon as the impact of any funding reduction or shortfall or profile change has been assessed. If a work force reduction is necessary, the Joint Labour Management Committee will canvas employees in a targeted area or other areas over a fourteen (14) day period, or such longer time as the Joint Labour Management Committee agrees, to find volunteer solutions that provide as many viable options as possible and minimize potential layoffs. Subject to any agreement that the Joint Labour Management Committee may make to extend the period of a canvass, such canvasses shall take place either: • prior to the issuance of lay-off notice to employees under the local agreement, or • by no later than fourteen (14) calendar days following the annual deadline for notice of non-renewal or layoff where a local provision provides for such a deadline, whichever date is later. The union shall be provided with a copy of each final plan for employee labour adjustment.

  • Meaningful Relationship Commitment Letters If applicable, Meaningful Relationship Commitment Letter(s) (MRCL) establishes the relationship and commitments of performance for Contractors who share Systems, Certifications, and Clearances from other affiliates, divisions, or subsidiaries within a Contractor’s internal corporate structure. If applicable, the Contractor must maintain and honor each MRCL for the entire term of OASIS SB. The Contractor shall notify the OASIS SB CO, in writing, if there are any changes in the status of their internal corporate relationships or commitments and provide the reasons for the change. If applicable, the Contractor’s MRCLs are incorporated by reference into the OASIS SB contract and the OASIS Program Office will provide MRCLs for the OCO upon request.

  • MUTUAL COMMITMENTS ‌ 18 The parties to this Contract are mutually committed to the development of an efficient, cost 19 effective, integrated, person-centered, age specific recovery and resilience model approach to 20 the delivery of quality community behavioral health services. To that end, the parties are 21 mutually committed to maximizing the availability of resources to provide needed behavioral 22 health services in the Service Area, maximizing the portion of those resources used for the 23 provision of direct services and minimizing duplication of effort.

  • Additional Commitments The Parties may negotiate commitments with respect to measures affecting trade in services not subject to scheduling under Article 106 (National Treatment) or Article 107 (Market Access), including those regarding qualifications, standards or licensing matters. Such commitments shall be inscribed in a Party's Schedule.

  • RENEWAL, AMENDMENT AND TERMINATION (a) This Agreement shall become effective on the date first written above and shall remain in force for a period of two (2) years from such date, and from year to year thereafter but only so long as such continuance is specifically approved at least annually (i) by the vote of a majority of the Trustees who are not interested persons of the Portfolio or the Investment Adviser, cast in person at a meeting called for the purpose of voting on such approval and by a vote of the Board of Trustees or (ii) by the vote of a majority of the outstanding voting securities of the Portfolio. The aforesaid provision that this Agreement may be continued "annually" shall be construed in a manner consistent with the 1940 Act and the rules and regulations thereunder.

  • Service Commitment Newly hired nurses and currently employed nurses who voluntarily choose to relocate and receive a relocation allowance may be required to serve for a minimum of two years at their base before they will be considered for transfer to another base. This commitment will not apply when the employer and nurse mutually agree to waive it and when relocation occurs as a result of layoff/rehire.

  • EXTENSION OF USE COMMITMENT The Contractor agrees to honor all orders from State Agencies, political subdivisions and others authorized by law (see Section 25 Extension of Use) which are in compliance with the pricing, terms, and conditions set forth in the Contract. Any unilateral limitations/restrictions imposed by the Contractor on eligible Authorized Users will be grounds for cancellation of the Contract.
