The employer agrees that there shall be no discrimination exercised or practiced with respect to any employee in the matter of hiring, assigning wage rate, training, upgrading, promotion, transfer, layoff, recall, discipline, classification, or discharge, by reason of age, race, creed, colour, ancestry, national origin, religion, political affiliation or activity, sexual orientation, gender, gender presentation, marital or parental status, family relationship, place of residence, disability, nor by reason of membership or activity in the Union.
