Freedom from Discrimination. 9.01 The Union, the Employer, and the employees agree that there shall be no discrimination, interference, restriction, or coercion exercised or practiced with respect to any employee by reason of race, ethnic origin, colour, ancestry, citizenship, place of origin, creed, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, pregnancy, disability, lawful source of income, conviction for an offence for which a pardon has been granted, or union membership or activity or for exercising their rights under the Agreement.
Freedom from Discrimination. Every faculty member has the right to equal treatment by the College with respect to all aspects of the exercise of its managerial authority. Equal treatment shall be without discrimination, interference, restriction or coercion exercised or practised because of race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnicity, citizenship, creed, religion, political affiliation or activity, sex, age, marital status, family status, place of residence, disability, medical history, sexual preference, personal lifestyle, or membership or activity in the Association.
Freedom from Discrimination. The Board, the Association, and their agents and members agree that neither shall unlawfully discriminate against any employee of the District because of race, religion, color, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, height, weight, marital status, disability, or for exercising his/her rights pursuant to of the Michigan Public Employment Relations Act, MCL 423.211 et seq., as amended.
Freedom from Discrimination. Neither party shall unlawfully discriminate against any employee because of the employee’s race, creed, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, height, weight, disability or membership in the Association.

The law shall prohibit any discrimination and guarantee to all persons equal and effective protection against discrimination on any ground such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status;

Freedom from Discrimination. The Employer and Union cannot and will not condone discrimination or personal harassment that is based on sex, race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, age, record of offences, marital status, sexual orientation, family status or handicap, or for any other grounds declared unlawful by Ontario Human Rights legislation.
Freedom from Discrimination. The Employer is committed to providing a work environment free of discrimination because of sexual preference or orientation.
Freedom from Discrimination. 7.01 The parties agree that in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code there shall be no discrimination, interference, restriction, or coercion exercised or practiced with respect to any member of the Bargaining Unit in any matter concerning the application of the provisions of this Agreement by reason of race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, age, record of offences, martial status, same-sex partnership status, family status, political or religious affiliations, whether one has children or disability.
Freedom from Discrimination. The Board and its administrative representatives shall not discriminate in any way against any teacher by reason of his/her membership in or participation in the activities of the Association or his/her exercise of rights granted under this Agreement.
