Employer Shall Not Discriminate. (a) The Employer agrees that there shall be no discrimination with respect to any employee in the matter of hiring, wage rates, training, upgrading, promotion, transfer, lay-off, recall, discipline, classification, discharge, assignment of work, or otherwise by reason of his/her membership or activity in the Union. It is agreed that the parties will comply with applicable human rights legislation.
