Employee must give notice. 45.6.1 The Employee must, where reasonably practicable, give the Employer notice that the Employee requires leave to provide care or support to a member of the Employee’s immediate family, or a member of the Employee’s household, and the estimated duration of the leave, prior to the period of absence. If it is not reasonably practicable for the Employee to give prior notice of the absence, the Employee must otherwise notify the Employer as soon as reasonably practicable.
