Elongation definition

Elongation means the ratio of the extension of a material to the length of the material prior to the extension (expressed in percent), as represented by the following: "Extension" means the change in length of a material due to stretching (expressed in units of length).

  • The sample shall be collected from the lot unloaded at site for its testing in approved Govt lab for Crushing Strength, Water Absorptions, Flakiness and Elongation test, Abrasion and Impact/ Californian Tests.

Related to Elongation

  • Waterbody means any accumulation of water, surface or underground, natural or artificial, including rivers, streams, creeks, ditches, swales, lakes, ponds, marshes, wetlands, and ground water. The term does not include any storage or treatment structures.
