Early Childhood Educator - Level 2. Early Childhood Educator Level 2 means an Employee who has completed an AQF Certificate II in Children's' Services conducted by TAFE or a course which is recognised as equivalent under the Act. Alternatively this Employee shall possess, in the opinion of the Employer, sufficient knowledge and experience to perform the duties at this level. Duties would include some or all of the following: • any of the duties listed for a Early Childhood Educator Level 1; • assist in the preparation and implementation of programs suited to the needs of individual children and groups; • be responsible for reporting observations of individual children with particular needs.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Distance Education Distance education means instruction in which the instructor and student are separated by distance and interact through the assistance of communication technologies. All distance education courses and sections will be designated as such in the District schedule of classes. Distance education courses include hybrid (see glossary) instruction and fully online instruction.

  • Adult Education Teachers of Adult Education shall be paid at the rate of thirty-five ($35.00) an hour. Break time will not be deducted from teachers’ pay.

  • Level 4 An Employee at this level performs work above and beyond the skills of an Employee at Level 3.

  • STATEWIDE ACHIEVEMENT TESTING When CONTRACTOR is an NPS, per implementation of Senate Bill 484, CONTRACTOR shall administer all Statewide assessments within the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (“CAASP”), Desired Results Developmental Profile (“DRDP”), California Alternative Assessment (“CAA”), achievement and abilities tests (using LEA-authorized assessment instruments), the Fitness Gram with the exception of the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (“ELPAC”) to be completed by the LEA, and as appropriate to the student, and mandated by XXX xxxxxxxx to LEA and state and federal guidelines. CONTRACTOR is subject to the alternative accountability system developed pursuant to Education Code section 52052, in the same manner as public schools. Each LEA student placed with CONTRACTOR by the LEA shall be tested by qualified staff of CONTRACTOR in accordance with that accountability program. XXX shall provide test administration training to CONTRACTOR’S qualified staff. CONTRACTOR shall attend LEA test training and comply with completion of all coding requirements as required by XXX.

  • Level I If the grievance is not resolved through informal discussions, the supervisor shall give a written decision on the grievance to the parties involved within ten (10) days after receipt of the written grievance.
