DUTIES OF PRESIDENT AND VICE-PRESIDENTS. The President shall, when present, preside at all meetings of the Members of the Association and of the Board of Directors. The President shall also be charged with the general management and supervision of the affairs and operations of the Association. The President, with the Secretary or other Officer appointed by the Board for such purpose, shall sign all By-Laws and Membership Certificates/Transfers. During the absence of the President, or his/her inability to perform the duties of his/her office, his/her duties and powers may be exercised by the First Vice-President, and if the First Vice- President or such other director as the Board may from time to time appoint for the purpose, exercise any such duty or power, the absence or inability of the President shall be presumed with reference thereto. The President shall be ex-officio a member of all Committees. The Second Vice-President shall maintain a current Membership List. The President shall ensure that the Management Operating Manual is kept current and reviewed on a yearly basis. The President must ensure that computer and hard copies of M.O.M. are kept up-to-date at the Park Office.

DUTIES OF PRESIDENT AND VICE-PRESIDENTS. The president shall preside at all meetings of members and shall act as chairman of the board of directors. The president or any vice president shall sign in the name of the Company such contracts, leases, and other instruments as are authorized from time to time by the board of directors. Subject to the control of the board of directors, the president shall have general management of the affairs of the Company, and shall perform all duties incidental to the office. In the absence or inability of the president to act, any vice president shall have the powers and perform the duties of the president.

  • Vice President In the absence of the President or in the event of the President’s inability to act, the Vice President, if any (or in the event there be more than one Vice President, the Vice Presidents in the order designated by the Directors, or in the absence of any designation, then in the order of their election), shall perform the duties of the President, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President. The Vice Presidents, if any, shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board may from time to time prescribe.

  • Vice Presidents The Vice Presidents will, subject to the control of the Member, perform such duties as may be assigned to them by the President and will have the general powers and duties usually vested in the office of vice president of corporations, and will have such other powers and duties as may be prescribed by the Member.   • Treasurer The Treasurer shall be the chief financial and accounting officer of the Trust, and, subject to the provisions of the Declaration of Trust and to any arrangement made by the Trustees with a custodian, investment adviser or manager, or transfer, shareholder servicing or similar agent, shall be in charge of the valuable papers, books of account and accounting records of the Trust, and shall have such other duties and powers as may be designated from time to time by the Trustees or by the President.

  • The President the Treasurer and the Secretary shall be elected by the Trustees upon the occurrence of any vacancy in any such office. Other officers, if any, may be elected or appointed by the Trustees at any time. Vacancies in any such other office may be filled at any time.

  • Chairman and Secretary The Local Union shall select the Union representatives and the Chapter shall select the management representatives.

  • College President The "College President" is the Chief Executive Officer of the College.

  • Chairman An individual (who need not be a Registered Warrantholder) designated in writing by the Warrant Agent shall be chairman of the meeting and if no individual is so designated, or if the individual so designated is not present within fifteen minutes from the time fixed for the holding of the meeting, the Registered Warrantholders present in person or by proxy shall choose an individual present to be chairman.
