This means that establishments which fall within the definition of the sector and the geographical scope of the Council, will automatically be required to adhere to the minimum wages and conditions of employment, as set out in the agreement as from 18th January 2021. The scope of the collective agreement will be countrywide, except for those catering establishments that fall within Bargaining Council for the Food Retail, Restaurant, Catering and Allied Trades (Johannesburg and surrounds) and the Bargaining Council for the Restaurant, Catering and Allied Trades (Pretoria and surrounds). The new agreement will therefore cover: • The Province of Western Cape • The Province of Eastern Cape • The Province of Northern Cape • The Province of Free State • The Province of Kwa Zulu Natal • The Province of North West excluding the Magisterial Districts of Brits and Rustenburg • The Province of Mpumalanga excluding the Magisterial District of Witbank • The Limpopo Province excluding the Magisterial District of Warmbaths and the Magisterial Districts of Xxxxxxxxxx, Xxxxx, Vereeniging, Vanderbijlpark, Xxxxxxxxxx, Meyerton and Carletonville. • Excluding the Magisterial Districts of Alberton, Benoni, Boksburg, Brakpan, Delmas, Germiston, Johannesburg, Kempton Park, Krugersdorp, Randburg, Randfontein, Roodepoort, Springs, and Westonaria. • Excluding the Magisterial District of Pretoria, Brits, Bronkhorstspruit, Xxxxxxxx, Rustenburg, Warmbaths, Witbank and Wonderboom. The collective agreement will impact on the following establishments: Tearooms, Restaurants, Catering businesses, Coffee Shops, Pubs, Taverns, Roadhouses, Cafes, Snack Bars, Fast Food Outlets, Convenience Stores, Industrial and Commercial Caterers, Function Caterers, amongst others. What will businesses be required to do to comply? • An increase in the minimum hourly rate currently in terms of the National Minimum Wage, with a CPI plus 1.5% increase, added from 1 May 2021 (and indeed for several years going forward annually until 2025). • A tiered system of minimum wages depending on the staff members position/role. • A compulsory monthly membership contribution to the Council and respective unions. • A compulsory contribution to a pre-selected ...

  • Local Control Center, Metering and Telemetry The NTO shall operate, pursuant to ISO Tariffs, ISO Procedures, Reliability Rules and all other applicable reliability rules, standards and criteria on a twenty-four (24) hour basis, a suitable local control center(s) with all equipment and facilities reasonably required for the ISO to exercise ISO Operational Control over NTO Transmission Facilities Under ISO Operational Control, and for the NTO to fulfill its responsibilities under this Agreement. Operation of the NYS Power System is a cooperative effort coordinated by the ISO control center in conjunction with local control centers and will require the exchange of all reasonably necessary information. The NTO shall provide the ISO with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (“SCADA”) information on facilities listed in Appendices A-1 and A-2 herein as well as on generation and merchant transmission resources interconnected to the NTO’s transmission facilities pursuant to the ISO OATT. The NTO shall provide metering data for its transmission facilities to the ISO, unless other parties are authorized by the appropriate regulatory authority to provide metering data. The NTO shall collect and submit to the ISO billing quality metering data and any other information for its transmission facilities required by the ISO for billing purposes. The NTO shall provide to the ISO the telemetry and other operating data from generation and merchant transmission resources interconnected to its transmission facilities that the ISO requires for the operation of the NYS Power System. The NTO will establish and maintain a strict code of conduct to prevent such information from reaching any unauthorized person or entity.

  • BUY AMERICA ACT (National School Lunch Program and Breakfast Program With respect to products purchased by Customers for use in the National School Lunch Program and/or National School Breakfast Program, Contractor shall comply with all federal procurement laws and regulations with respect to such programs, including the Buy American provisions set forth in 7 C.F.R. Part 210.21(d), to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs. In the event Contractor or Contractor’s supplier(s) are unable or unwilling to certify compliance with the Buy American Provision, or the applicability of an exception to the Buy American provision, H-GAC Customers may decide not to purchase from Contractor. Additionally, H-GAC Customers may require country of origin on all products and invoices submitted for payment by Contractor, and Contractor agrees to comply with any such requirement.

  • Traditional Medicine Cooperation 1. The aims of Traditional Medicine cooperation will be: (a) to build on existing agreements or arrangements already in place for Traditional Medicine cooperation; and (b) to promote information exchanges on Traditional Medicine between the Parties. 2. In pursuit of the objectives in Article 149 (Objectives), the Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities, including, but not limited to: (a) encouraging dialogue on Traditional Medicine policies and promotion of respective Traditional Medicine; (b) raising awareness of active effects of Traditional Medicine; (c) encouraging exchange of experience in conservation and restoration of Traditional Medicine; (d) encouraging exchange of experience on management, research and development for Traditional Medicine; (e) encouraging cooperation in the Traditional Medicine education field, mainly through training programs and means of communication; (f) having a consultation mechanism between the Parties' Traditional Medicine authorities; (g) encouraging cooperation in Traditional Medicine therapeutic services and products manufacturing; and (h) encouraging cooperation in research in the fields of Traditional Medicine in order to contribute in efficacy and safety assessments of natural resources and products used in health care.
