Contracts for Engineering Services. In the event the Grantee contracts for engineering services, the Grantee will require that the engineering firm certify that it is authorized to do business in the State of Alaska and provide proof of licensing and required professional liability insurance. Unless otherwise agreed by the Authority, the insurance required by this section shall, at a minimum, included professional liability insurance covering all errors, omissions or negligent acts in the performance of professional services under this agreement, with limits required per the following schedule: Contract Amount Minimum Required Limits Under $ 100,000 $ 300,000 per Occurrence/Annual Aggregate $ 100,000-$ 499,999 $ 500,000 per Occurrence/Annual Aggregate $ 500,000-$ 999,999 $ 1,000,000 per Occurrence/Annual Aggregate $ 1,000,000 or over Refer to Risk Management

  • Engineering Services Definition: Engineering Services includes any service or creative work, the adequate performance of which requires education, training and experience in the application of special knowledge in consulting, investigating, evaluating, planning and designing, engineering principles. Engineering Services covered by the Xxxxxx Architect-Engineers Act (40 U.S.C. 1102) are not covered in the primary scope of OASIS SB.   • Engineering Forest Service completed survey and design for Specified Roads prior to timber sale advertisement, unless otherwise shown in A8 or Purchaser survey and design are specified in A7. On those roads for which Forest Service completes the design during the contract, the design quantities shall be used as the basis for revising estimated costs stated in the Schedule of Items and adjusting Timber Sale Account. Forest Service engineering shall be completed according to the schedule in A8. Should Forest Service be unable to perform the designated survey and design by the completion date or other agreed to time, upon written agreement, Purchaser shall assume responsibility for such work.
