Continuing Application of Letters of Agreement. Notwithstanding that a Board has become a Participating Employer in the AEFO ELHT, with respect to the obligations of a Board to continue to provide Benefits to short- term occasional assignments and term assignments as stipulated in applicable Letters of Agreement outside of the AEFO ELHT, participation in the AEFO ELHT for such Employees does not negate the obligations provided under the applicable Letters of Agreement. For greater certainty, this means that, in the event a Board employee obtains coverage under the AEFO ELHT for a long-term occasional assignment, participation rights in the Board’s benefits plan shall continue to apply prior to and at the cessation of the long-term occasional assignment.‌
